THE STORY BEHIND AIRLODY
BUILT BY AN ARTIST.
FOR INDEPENDENT ARTISTS.

I’m Josh Odair, an independent musician from Sudbury, Ontario.
When I started looking into getting my music on radio, I was reaching out to stations myself and exploring what it would cost to hire someone. One option was thousands of dollars, a big expense when you’re already paying to record, release and promote your music.
That got me thinking: could there be a simpler, more affordable way for independent artists to get their songs in front of radio stations?
Artists already have people who enjoy their music. But even when fans want to help, they might not know which stations to contact or what to say.
That’s where this idea started. An artist creates a campaign and shares one link. Fans enter their name, choose a station from the list, and open a prepared email in their own email app. They can review it, make it their own and press send.
